BIMatrix Introduces a New 3D Viewer and Enhanced IFC Model Validation
We have expanded BIMatrix with new features that significantly simplify the checking of building information models in IFC format and the evaluation of their compliance with the project’s data standard.
The new online 3D viewer clearly displays valid and invalid elements within the IFC model and allows users to navigate through individual elements directly in the 3D environment. The non-graphical information of a selected element can be displayed and compared with the requirements of the project’s data standard. Any missing or non-compliant information can therefore be quickly identified directly within the context of the 3D model.
The new features also include a clear and easy-to-use validation report. Users can click on a validation result to navigate directly to the relevant element in the 3D viewer, significantly speeding up the identification and subsequent correction of detected issues.
BIMatrix now also supports IFC model validation directly against a validation template in IDS format. Users can easily verify whether the model and its non-graphical information comply with the specified project requirements.
These new features provide faster, more visual and more efficient data checking within IFC models. They help identify errors at an early stage, improve the quality of the submitted information and simplify collaboration between all project participants.
